Endymion
rolls on the Saturday before Mardi Gras. Endymion features a
celebrity "Grand Marshall" and 8 tandem floats. Throws include:
mascot beads, doubloons, cups, lighted beads, stuffed mascot dolls,
footballs and frisbees. After parade they hold the Endymion
Extravaganza in the Superdome. |

Bacchus rolls on
the Sunday prior to Mardi Gras, known as "Bacchus Sunday". Bacchus features a celebrity King....and several signature floats such as Bacchasaurus, King Kong, Mama Kong, and Baby Kong. Bacchus throws include: doubloons, cups, emblem beads, medallion beads, footballs, and talking animal dolls. |

Mid-City is the 5th oldest continuously
parading organization in New Orleans. Mid City carries the
reputation for having some of the best bands at Mardi Gras. |

Morpheus |
Morpheus rolls on the Tuesday before Fat Tuesday. Morpheus riders throw 64 oz. plastic fish drinking bowls, Morpheus Medallion beads, Morpheus soccer and footballs, and doubloons. 2002's parade featured 6 marching bands, 5 jazz bands and one horse unit. 2002 marked the first ride for this new Krewe. |

Pontchartrain |
Pontchartrain rolls 2 Saturday's before Mardi Gras. You can expect to see local celebrities at a Pontchartrain parade, along with some great bands. Krewe members toss emblem cups. The annual "Jeudi Gras" ball is a tradition with Pontchartrain. |

used on their floats. Some of the throws you can expect to see from

Shangri-la
rolls 2 Saturdays before Mardi Gras. Throws include: ladies bikinis,
3-D medallions, key chains, cups, doubloons, and "Rosie" the plush toy.
Shangri-la features several signature floats. |

Proteus |
Proteus rolls on Lundi Gras (Monday).
Proteus is the second oldest parading Krewe in New Orleans. Some of their
throws are: cups, doubloons, Proteus sea horse beads. |

Thoth |
Thoth rolls on the Sunday before Mardi Gras.
Thoth throws include: doubloons, mini-doubloons, die-cut alloy beads and
cups. The Thoth parade also features over 20 bands for the crowds
enjoyment. |

Okeanos |
Okeanos rolls on the Saturday before Mardi Gras in the Afternoon. Okeanos' throws include: Krewe emblem beads, cups, doubloons, medallion necklaces, and frisbees. They begin their parade on Napoleon St. and wind it up on Tchoupitoulas. |

Iris rolls on the Saturday before Fat Tuesday. One of the largest female organization , Iris proudly throws magnets, cups, emblem beads, coasters, frisbees, metallic bracelets, plush animals lighted beads, ceramic faces, and doubloons |

Hermes |
Hermes rolls on the Friday before Fat Tuesday, prior to Le Krewe D'etat. Hermes tosses items such as: cups, doubloons, and stuffed animals. Hermes floats also feature neon lighting, they were the first Parading Krewe which used neon. |

Chaos |
Chaos rolls on the Thursday before Fat Tuesday. Made up of former members of the defunct Krewe of Momus, they even use Momus' old floats. They will toss: doubloons, cups, and beads. Satirical themes should be expected from this Krewe. |

Saturn |
Saturn rolls on the Wed nesday before Fat
Tuesday. A satirical parade, Saturn will be tossing: hand clappers,
logo-cups, doubloons, Saturn "planet beads", the famous "Fat Lady" beads,
"Fat Lady" key chains, and "Fat Lady" stuffed dolls. |
